TRADERS - How much do you pay for a bottle of water?

I'd pay £2 maximum too, I guess.

If I'm honest though, I wouldn't be hopeful of a successful launch at major festivals. They have their own deals on all sorts of beverages inside the arenas, and outside there people are just gonna go get their tins or waters that they've taken from home.

I dunno though, there are much more knowledgable people kicking about the forum.

Hmm, I'm not sure. £2 is a lot of money. If you buy 100 bottles over the weekend (around what I buy) then it's £50 more than if they were £1.50 each. I feel if he goes ahead with your idea you'll hurt a lot of festival goers.

I think he'll be successful. He obviously has his heart in this. I don't think people will take their own tins because that will hurt people selling water who could make £150/£200 if you bought 100 bottles over the weekend.

As you say, there are more knowledgeable people on the forum. Where is justanothername? He's a proper water drinker.

Conjecture - "an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information."

He's guessing, without information on the price of water at festivals, so that's conjecture, surely?

I won the law award at secondary school and watch Suits on a weekly basis. I know my law shit.

I also see you visiting my profile yesterday. Hi Yellow.

Festival Traders!

I am looking to supply bottled water to quench thirsty partygoers, but need to better understand the market I am moving into. How much would you expect to pay for 330ml of bottled water. If you work in bulk, a case of 2,000 units works too. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

FF!

if you mean at Reading and Leeds - its unlikely you would get a order as Festival Republic has had a long standing deal with ' One Water ' so 100% of the profits goes to charity - see below
unfortunately many Customers will be unaware about this although on each bottle it does explain where the profit goes to.

well in fact your both correct { with regards weekend ticket holders }

it was all due to Melvin's ' free food and beer every day ' scheme

http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/12/120309d.shtml

he amended this to ' free food and beer/soft drink every day '

so free water was handed out at the entry barrier if you did not want a can of Beer but any further bottles had to be paid for.
