Its a bit strange The Wombats haven't played since 2008. They seem like the perfect T-type band and everyone I spoke to who seen them that year loved them...

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are touring Europe in July around T, with Mark Lanegan supporting.

There is a 2 day gap in Mark Lanegan's schedule between the 10th and 13th, between Italy and Belgium.

Here's hoping for both of them at T!

They won't top last year, so I don't really care if they get announced or not. I'd likely go out of my way to try and avoid it actually.

It was more than good last year. I remember seeing them in the SECC and they were pretty poor. The reason it was excellent last year was down to being in King Tuts. Moving them out of there to a less rabid crowd on a bigger stage, it won't be anywhere near as good.

Foals dont appear to have anything on after the 6th July and are in Europe then. would be a great addition, especially for tuts.

See, it's the R+L stuff that makes me think it's possible. Plus, their stock is on the rise, so big slots like that and a good performance might be one of the things that kicks them into a higher level.

My one problem is I'm not sure how well it'd do, crowd wise.

Crowd wise I think they'd do well playing before Arctics, definitely a hell of a lot better than the reception they received playing before Chase & Status and Eminem, that was a disaster. Massive cross over with Arctics fans though. Would they have any darkness? Their lasers do quite a bit for the atmosphere

No darkness for them. They'd have had not much had they been subbing the Friday or Saturday, but they'll get absolutely zero on the Sunday.

Foals music suits a tent a lot more so i hope they play Tuts. I would see them regardless of where they played though as they really are a great live band.

The idea of Foals subbing makes me want to weep.

Andrew WK is playing Europe/UK in mid-July, saw him with Marky Ramone at The Garage in October and it was absolutely brilliant, would love him to play his own set. Also wouldn't mind The Strypes, Blondie and The Wailers from V line up.

Foals would've been a cracking alternative to Calvin Harris. The Black Keys headlining Latitude the week after T if anyone wants to bring the idea of them subbing Arctic Monkeys again.

Neil had them as a UK exclusive at Latitude weeks ago, so I doubt it. Plus, the crowd would be completely dead for them.
