Metallica being booked, apparantly Reading wouldn't want to seem cheap by booking two G headliners from 2014 for their 2015 bill. It's not something I personally think would matter but if the R&L board agree on it..

I reckon Mumfords would be more likely for V Fest than R+L but dunno if they're even back.

Mumfords were in the studio in October so if things went well then it's conceivable that an album could be out for the summer. Suppose they could just give festivals a miss this year and release the album later in the year though.

The script I don't think so but are you being serious about NGHFB? Your sold out in less than 10 mins and the shear size of the crowd he attracted last time he played puts him bang in line for a headline slot at any festival. He's got pull. That's not even mentioning the back catalogue of oasis tracks he's got to pick from.

Did he actually sell it out though? There was still seats for London, Manchester and possibly Nottingham for a bit after they went on sale. I still don't see NGHFB as a headliner but he's not far off it, if it was a weak year for headliners then he could certainly be bumped up.

I arent doubting Noels HFB are big, I just dont think they are headline material for a supposedly major festival. Sub is still a high spot, and a good spot for them. I wouldnt watch them either way really, probably stay on a lower stage for sub and headliner like I did last year

Theyd still be going if they could. Noel Gallagher was oasis, he was the songwriter, he has the rights to use the songs, not liam. His popularity is there, much like mumford a year or 2 ago when they were headlining shows.

Well said or wrote. I would be pleased to see him headline I know people do not like him as a person very much but he has the talent and of course a big back catalogue of hits even some crowd sing alongs

I could see him as a good sub, just dont think he would headline V. Quote and ridicule me if he does end up headlining, I will eat my words, but I just dont see it happening

Really? Solid 'lads lads lads' booking as a sub, which is exactly what V need after last year, but count me out if he's a headliner, the place will be filled with utter cretins.
