She's done V before hasn't she?

A while ago yeah, before she was as big as she is meant to be now. If Beyonce could do V im sure Taylor could, I just dont know if id want her headlining, personal preference. Just because she headlining BST, it would be like McBusted headlining because they headlined it last year.

Yes I will be happy if Noel and flo heading, as Noel is a great singer with a massive back catalogue he can play and it will be great to give flo a chance to headline as she is also a great singer with great songs. But a bit gutted that Kyle has been announced for BST so chance of her playing V as well I think of being slim I think she would be great.

I think Noels are still sub at best, not quite headline. Announcement coming in March as the website says, so we have a bit more to wait

They are established headliners, Noels and Flo arent quite there yet IMO

That is debatable. I reckon The Killers albums may have sold more than Noels solo effort but I would be surprised if Kings of Leon had an album that has sold as many copies as Noels first solo album.

I may be wrong on that but I would be surprised. I would also be shocked if either of them could sell tickets for an arena tour today as quickly as Noel managed it.

One thing I am certain of though is that at the Weston site, Noel pulled a bigger crowd for his sub spot than the killers did for either of their headline spots.

Noel could easily headline and sell the festival out, looking at his arena tour some tickets were 80 quid which is basically a day ticket to a festival so he'd have the demand for it and the V crowd love him. The only thing that would stop him is if he were to play other English festivals not headlining in the summer, if people can see him everywhere the demand wouldn't be there but if it was his only fest of the summer, he'd definitely sell out his day.

Come on give them a chance they are both talent with plenty of songs to choose. How many hit songs did king of Leon have to choose from when they headline in 2010? Plus it will be good to have something different.

Yeah they maybe do have the catalogues and talent, no denying they are talented, but I just dont think Noels are headline material, but thats just my opinion.

I agree, wouldn't go see Noel if it was a choice between that and burning my house down but far rather him play than any of the three K's *again*

If Noel headlined id probably go see the second stage headliner, wouldnt be anyone like Elbow with Noel headlining. But thats the same as any of the K's, I wouldnt see them either. Not sure id burn my house down though :P

Kaisers were choosing to play 'bad' slots at fests last year - on the basis that they hoped it would expose them to people who wouldn't otherwise see them or who didn't already know of them.

Didn't stop them opening Glastonbury and then headlining a main stage against the weakest Pyramid headliner :P But I see your point, do you think they're in any way likely do the same this year or go back to playing slots like third down at Reading which they did even during the 'dip' years? :)

I've no idea what future plans are. I know via an excellent source that they had a deliberate 'do it different' plan for last summer tho, to try and expose them to new people.

That would also tie in with the album they churned out last year having a different sound (a different sound which, judging from this new track, they've already moved on from).
