More realistically the USA now has a massive festival market with global sponsors that pays bigger bucks to tour over there in the summer than the UK/Europeasn events do, with only Glastonbury having international prestige.

At least well in my mind there is going to one decent headliner this year Mr Calvin harris he us going to be good so many great songs to dance to and I hope he plays songs from his first album one of my favourite albums ever. Plus interested to see which a list celeb he will get to introduce him on stage last year as will Smith introduced him at T

It isn't confirmed officially but it's pretty much a lock. Numerous reliable sources have suggested it's The Libertines + if you look at the efestivals rumours page for R&L they're listed as 'TBC', which almost* guarantees they'll play.

*there have been a few times when an act which is to be confirmed hasn't been announced, but on majority it's reliable.

I have to say I'm surprised R&L took a stab at Mumfords before V, only recently started listening to their stuff but I feel like they would have been a cracking V headliner.

I think your are probably right on two counts as one of his early songs chorus goes " I will give hugs to you if your were born in the 80s" this is V they will be only a handful of people in the crowd and me who were actually born in the 80s. Also it probably be a towie star who will introduce him!

Apologies in advance if strictly speaking I'm on the the wrong thread, but thinking of going to V for the first time. Been to Glasto twice before and loved it.

Am I too old at 42? Will have my 15 year old daughter with me?

All ages go to Glasto but I've heard V does tend to be young, so can anyone give me some advice?

I am 36 and will be there. V will have a line up that caters for most ages. I saw the Human League and Blondie last year.

I'm 55 and the wife's 53 and we love it, will be with our 20 year old daughter and her two mates. Something for everyone. We do stay in a hotel though, so can't comment on the campsites.

Agree with the others, yep there will be plenty of younger people and some will be twats but generally most people are fine, happy and all trying to enjoy themselves.

However, the arseholes do come out in the campsite so if u like your sleep and can stay somewhere else, I probably would
