Fingers crossed it's not Calvin Harris! They are both solid bookings but I think CH is very uninspired,they could have gone for the approach of getting someone like Lady GaGa, or an older band such as Green Day, or something a bit left field like Kanye

Calvin Harris will be fantastic at V. I think people forget festivals are about having a good time.

Calvin got a pretty good reception and crowd when I saw him at V 2 years ago, so I dont see why he wouldnt put on a good show again. If V do get Calvin, I could see them saying they have secured 'the biggest DJ in the world' to headline or something. It looks like he isnt doing T they could try get him on an exclusive and hype that up, even though most people would know its because no where else wants him.

Kasabian and Calvin isnt too bad really, but if V could get another headliner and convince Calvin to headline MTV stage again instead then it might go down better

I've yet to see Calvin Harris in a field, so I wouldn't mind if he's there. His T in the park set looked nuts last year.

It was. Main reason I've pointed my eyes towards V this year. Never been before and T's a bit on the w*nk side this year

If you think T isnt very good, then V might not be either. V and T usually share quite a few acts. What part of T makes you think its a bit on the bad side

Well personally T for me is right up my street its the missus and the people I plan on going with. Saturday at T seems a bit poor to me personally whereas friday and sunday are spot on. She practically bums calvin

20th anniversary year - Blur to headline ? They last played in 1997, and are Essex boys - so great for Hylands ... all adds up :-)

Plus kayne west would be an alternative/ leftfield booking are you seriously abcdefg he is a pop star now! Someone like hot chip, pixies, Cure or daft punk now that an alternative headliner/booking!

Kanye headlined Wireless, V's Cousin festival with the same owners, so I dont think he would be too left field either. Daft Punk would be a great headliner for anywhere, I think they will do another festival somewhere its just where and when.

Dont know who has seen, but eFests is now saying Coldplay arent doing Glasto, so could that perhaps mean they are doing somewhere else. Would love it to be V but I doubt it now that Calvin and Kasabian are being rumoured

I have not be following Glastonbury rumours as I did not get a ticket again so going yo V 20 anniversary instead but have I missed something as the efestival rumours is saying now is only a small rumour for coldplay. I thought Chris spoke to zane lowe on air to saying coldplay are defo playing Glastonbury this year or did I dream it.

Na. Chris told Zane their new album was coming. Neil and that pulled a rabbit out the hat sayin Coldplay were nailed on a few weeks ago, and now the rabbit has been stuffed back in the hat.
