IIRC it was in an interview with the BBC at the end of their UK tour last year, the usual "we're gonna go away for a bit" type thing.

I mean the rumoured Kasabian, Bruno, Calvin, Pharrell, Prodigy and Gallagher, I've seen Calvin, I like Bruno, hate Pharrell and the other 3 aren't my type

Sam Smith wont be there, only fest appearance in Berlin. The persons guess from earlier looks pretty alright, with the likes of DJ Fresh makes it sound about right. Hope we actually see at 6, and not have the announcement delayed for a few days

The eFests press release for Lollapolooza Berlin says '

Saturday headliners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be making their only performance in Europe, and it will be Sam Smith’s only festival performance'

So I dont know what to make of it, unless it means only German appearance or something. Did think him being exclusive to there would be strange, but still posted anyway.

Id guess he will still do V then, seems to have a gap in his schedule. He is doing many festivals, so yeah I was wrong in what I thought the press thing meant

He's already at other festivals so it must just mean Germany.

Vaccines are at a Gentlemen of the Road stopover on V weekend so won't be there. Probably adds (a little) weight to them subbing Mumfords at R+L actually.

Sadly I remember when Rilo Kiley played V before they split up, was in the big tent, about 50 people watched them and people wonder why V stopped booking good acts and just fill the line up with shit.
