benus80
What can I say WTF! I thought this is was suppose to be the big 20 celebration this year and time to blow your budget and prove you can put on a good show. So where is Noel, prodigy, Florence, faithless and the charlatans they are all doing shows and available at the beginning of the year, surely heads most roll at the booking department! Boris The Spider
I don't actually mind Olly but second stage headliner? Really?

Pothuthic
After 20 years I think I am out ! Love love Stereophonics, but for the price I think its a no this year. Tickets aren't going to go mad with that line up so I'll wait to see who else is announced A sad sad day for V festival (sadder than last year) I'm rather surprised you've lasted this long! Matt42
That's IF they're playing main stage at T. I'm not so sure about it. I'd agree with Hozier, but can see Ezra getting a good slot on another stage. I believe it's been specified and the T poster works out that both Hozier and Ezra are fourth down on mainstage I also disagree there are TBA's as what has been announced works out we've got pretty much all of our big slots filled. phil the shrew
Seems in some respects they are clearly aiming at the younger, pop end of the market which is maybe a better way of selling tickets than the more varied and interesting line ups of 5-6 years ago Would like a bit more imagination with the line up though - Tom Jones and Proclaimers played pretty much every V I have been to. Different older acts might have persuaded me to get a ticket. Will leave it to the teenagers instead
Rose-Colored Boy
Seems in some respects they are clearly aiming at the younger, pop end of the market I'm firmly in this demographic and will be going nowhere near. I'm fairly sure it hasn't been specified in their cases.
daniel.k
Just putting it out there now, I arent going to V this year and certainly arent doing a clashfinder. Seems in some respects they are clearly aiming at the younger, pop end of the market which is maybe a better way of selling tickets than the more varied and interesting line ups of 5-6 years ago Even the younger side of the market wont be too interested with this line up I would guess. Last 2 years were heading towards the pop end but this is just shiet compared to them IMO. Theres no wow factor at all. IOW, T and Download have more of a wow factor with their headliners and top few acts, V isnt anywhere near really
benus80
And Olly Murs is headlining MTV anyways. Yes it is true he has done a video to saying that he is headlong MTV stage, has it come to this last year elbow (they were so good) to this year with olly! Rose-Colored Boy
Just putting it out there now, I arent going to V this year and certainly arent doing a clashfinder. :D Maybe Kasabian were so desperate to play that the organisers abandoned the plans to make the 20th year special and are gonna do something worthy of a party for the 21st instead,

Boris The Spider
I would've thought Sam had more of a pull than Olly, he's definitely flavour of the month. I guess he just hasn't got enough songs to headline.
Rose-Colored Boy
Maybe Sam Smith isn't subbing either V or T and Emeli Sande is going to slot in above him at both. Fuck sake it's come to something when Emeli Sande subbing would considerably improve a lineup.
thetime
Probably the dumbest post I've ever seen. He's dreadful but you don't know any of his songs? Nice. That's some statement when we have Matt and the return of efests prodigal son.

DomDom1984
At least Sande has a second album (or would do by then). I'm not convinced she'll have one out by then. I kept seeing April mentioned for her album, but if that were the case, I reckon we'd know. I can see her album coming in the final quarter. Otherwise I think we'd have seen her all over the place this summer, instead of absolutely nowhere.
