I won't take a month for the next announcement. There's another headliner to announce so i would imagine we'll know when the deals done an dusted especially if it's someone that's going to push ticket sales a bit more.

Im hoping the main headliner plus some main stage subs and the calling out stages really come good. I want to go as it is but most of my mates are hanging in the balance. I think Frank Turner as a main headliner has put a lot off!

tried listening to some of Frank Sidebottom's stuff in prep including Photosynthesis from 2011. Can't see it to be honest, not that any of sounds crap just doesn't really get the blood flowing.

Looking forward to Suede on the Friday night, although until I checked their website I was presuming they'd be the Sunday headliner, can't imagine they'd close on a dance act. They announced Public Enemy & DOT last year 6 weeks after the initial so I'd guess we've a while to wait yet, having 6,000+ tickets sold before end of Feb plus whatever they'd sold since the 1st announcement may mean there is no panic on for them to release another one sharpish.

Peace are playing Brewery Arts Centre (Kendal) should be an amazing gig for the venue..

Peace are a great band and exactly the type of band Kendal Calling should be booking. There are loads of up and coming indie bands on the edge of being big which seems to be kind a lacking so far at Kendal. Hopefully the next line up announcement will address that

The calling out stage acts have yet to be announced which is where the indie bands tend to play, I wouldn't worry, the card will start to fill up soon. We've only had one announcement up to now

Kendal are promoting their gig at the Arts Centre in May so not outside the realms of possibility they'll be added.

Seeing them at Truck so I'd prefer they weren't!

And Kendal are great at getting bands just before they get massive. The 1975, Kodaline & London Grammar to name 3

Almost certain to be, the first announcement was always going to be about headliners and bands that will sell tickets.

On the Twitter feed they said the next announcement was going to be "very soon"

Yeah...but their version of 'very soon' and ours might differ greatly! They said 48 hours over a week ago. Maybe they work on the same basis as our IT dept. They say '24 hours' but thats working hours, so its 3 days not 1.

I tweeted Tim Burgess and he's hinted that he will be doing a solo set of sorts. I actually think his solo stuff is pretty solid.Would be a good gig
