Yep, just the price. First year they've done it I think. Normally just the earlybird and full price. Evolves each year.

It think would be great if Weezer played. There are too many dull bands on list so far and Manics or Elbow aren't gonna improve that. I have never gone for the lineup and always buy tickets as soon as they are sale. I am usually more exited about the lineup than this year

The Manics would be top notch closers. I've seen them half a dozen times and they never disappoint.

Another thought I had was Pixies - that would be quality.

Although I would of thought elbow would be to big for kendal.

Will be good for them, will be able to flog their ale too. I am not a big fan of them but can imagine them to be pretty decent live.

If it is Elbow, hope that means Jimi Goodwin will be playing that day too. His new album is mega.

Someone mentioned Richard Ashcroft on another thread. He'd be perfect with a healthy smattering of 'Verve' numbers.

Perhaps also someone like Shed Seven, Cast, or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Yeah Richard Ashcroft would be special, shed seven have announced they won't be there this year. I wouldn't mind seeing either cast or black rebel there but I could imagine a backlash if either were named as headline acts, cast would be good in a support role

I seriously hope its not Richard Ashcroft seen him at the Sage and i've never been so bored.

Would imagine something a bit more upbeat would be better for a Sunday night singalong, saying that i'm not really that bothered who it is, as others have said there is plenty to do away from the main stage.

I'm still not giving up hope of New Order. Someone mentioned the Kendal team are involved in Jodrell Bank gigs, new order played there last year..... I'm clutching at straws maybe, but I'm still hoping.
