Hey guys,

So this year will be my very first year at V-fest.

Done Leeds numerous occasions but was wanting some tips for the Weston Park site.

Where is the best/avoid place to camp? (Not a kill joy but I don't want to camp in a very rowdy area)

What day does the campsite open?

Do you have to pay for parking?

Red camp is the worst (you'll know why when you get there, it's literally right outside 'the Arena')

Campsite opens 9am on the Friday

don't know about parking, we coached it last year, think it's pretty hefty though

Think it was £20 parking if you arrived on the Friday or £10 on the Saturday.

Have never camped there but mates have and their experience would suggest a none rowdy camp site might be hard to find

If you don't want a rowdy campsite, then gold is perfect. Its right by the south car park, and you will be able to get a great nights sleep. It seemed to be a more less crammed and an older crowd. I walked through it to get to my car and a couple in there 50's was having tea and toast before bed.

When picking campsites, any that are close to the arena are going to be busy, loud and a shit tip, so avoid those.

I'm sure there was a thread that gave a long in-depth breakdown of each campsite.

I camped up in green and that was nice and quite. Its a bit of a trek and not many food vans etc to get breakfast. Still looked better then camping in the red and orange areas though!
