Jue1972
Hi, would like some advice! Thinking about going to T (42&45) taking 2 15yr olds (who are pleading to go) however I went to Leeds last year and the camping was a nightmare compared to the experience at the IOW festival, loos in campsite awful and group behind us used our tent as their personal toilet! I can't make my mind up whether to camp or to shell out for strawberry field, any advice would be great thanks
cobaltstargazer
I have heard citizen T is a good place within the campsite. Also about 2 miles away is lethangie campsite, shuttle buses regular throughout the day and night.

Jue1972
Aaaaah cheers, did see that in a previous thread and looked it up, I don't think I could cope with the full on camp field, we bailed out last year and stayed in a hotel but to be fair the weather and conditions was horrendous at Leeds! Just trying to please both me and the hubby and the teenagers lol

devilman
Camping at T isn't as bad as it was at Leeds last year for the most part. Just go as far from the arena as you can, it's no where near as far away as it as at Leeds for green/brown. Citizen T is very good and would probably really suit you. Never done Lethangie but never heard a bad thing about it.

Jue1972
Thanks everyone for the advice, been told I have to chill out and just go with the flow! But I think I'll get thurs tickets and hopefully get on citizen T if not go furthest from arena don't want to spoil the experience for my son and his friend! Didn't really want to shell out for tangerine fields when we hopefully going to Kendall calling as well!
Doug85
camp at the back end of the site if u cant get citizen T. usually back end of green or yellow is quieter than the others and its not too long a walk. give yourself 10-15 mins to get to arena and main stage from the campsite and usually its fine. most "hardened" campers usually stay closer to the arena in red or blue although back end of blue is usally ok too.
