Has anyone been in a fight at R&L?

Sunday night in the campsite last year a couple of twats were walking around kicking down any tent in sight (some of them obviously had people returning to them) and so a (quite big) mate of mine squared up to them. One of them was wearing a monkey mask so my mate 'took his mask off' in one swift movement which struck this dickhead to the ground. The other twat was a bit smaller and decided not to do the same.

Great success.

Only one i know of in two years i have been to Leeds and it wasnt really a fight as such anyway.

A girl we knew from school (camping near but not with as such) was drugged and dragged into a tent by four guys. Luckily a few mates saw this and heard her screams and kicked the shit out of the lads before calling the police

Never got into a fight, but I was ready to. During SOAD last year some guy behind kept shoving into me for no reason, I let it slide thinking he was having a good time. Then he tried to start a Yaya/Kolo Toure chant. During Soldier Side Intro. I turned round and shouted NO as loud as I could in his face and gave him a proper death stare. He shut right up and walked off.

Moral of the story: Respect SOAD.

Not at R&L, but when I saw Sabbath last year this huge guy kept jumping into this guy next to us, for no reason, and this guy told him to fuck off, yet he carried on doing it. Then he told him to fuck off again and he stopped. Five minutes later he started doing it to another big guy next to us, who turned round and smacked him 4 or 5 times in the jaw. The guy seemed to think he'd done nothing wrong and was totally shocked by the response he received.

Another time (this one is unbelievably pathetic), when I saw Tribes at the Leadmill, there was this group of lads chanting shit and singing Oasis songs, and this one guy who was on his own next to them was like "Fucking pricks", and then one of the lads knocked his beer down him, and then offered to go buy him another one, so it was all resolved, and then one of his lad mates comes steaming through and lamps this other guy in the face. Cue about 10 people ending up in a huge brawl in the venue, with us caught up right in the middle.
