No idea how people can complain about this line up. All the people on twitter and Facebook saying there aren't enough old bands there - wha do you expect? For Β£2.50 a day they're getting the opportunity to see 3 headline acts a day - who you would normally pay Β£40-Β£60 to see?! Plus all the subs from T this year are there and some of the biggest musicians in the world right now. Plus I think the "poppiness" of the main stage is balanced by having some pretty good bands on the INMWT stage eg. Twin atlantic, CHVRCHES, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sub Focus etc.

People are never happy, even when something's pretty much free.

I like the few people on my feed who have tickets complaining "there aren't enough classic bands there!". What were you expecting from a radio station which calls itself 'the home of new music'? It's possibly the best lineup of the summer.

Has it been confirmed anywhere what area of Glasgow Green this is going to take place in? If it's the same space as the Stone Roses gig last year, I struggle to see how they'll fit two extra stages into that as well as bars, food stalls, merchandise etc. Not from a space point of view but from a perspective that the sound from each stage won't clash.

Also, I'm assuming there will be an exclusion zone in place for the George Square event, has any of this information been made public yet? (Just out of genuine interest, I'm intrigued to see how it will work).

I think they're dispatching tickets in reverse order (if that makes sense). My mate also got tickets for all three days and he received his Sunday ones about a week ago and those ticket numbers were in the 14000s but then received his Saturday ones today and he is ticket numbers 19 and 20. My Saturday ones are in the 7000s and I received them last week but I bought my Sunday ones first (meaning the number will probably be lower) so I'm assuming that's why I haven't received them yet.

Found the plans for both the George Square and Glasgow Green events on the council website if anyone is interested.

George Sq looks like it's just the one stage with 2 bars being located at the back of the square near the Cenotaph. I also see something marked 'FOH Proj'. Could that be a projector for some video mapping on the City Chambers? (they did something similar in Derry last year)

Glasgow Green layout is pretty much what I expected it to be. Same area used for Stone Roses last year but extended slightly to the east side. INMWT Stage immediately to your left as you walk in the West Entrance (I imagine this means it will be constantly busy as people arrive and head straight in there if someone decent is playing, probably a good thing). Also means that the Main Stage won't be visible from the entrance as it was at Stone Roses last year (and you won't get as many people loitering around outside trying to peer in). There doesn't look to be many toilets though (especially near the Main Stage area). The Introducing Tent looks pretty well hidden too.

Also, why the heck is there a big wheel at Glasgow Green?!?
