Not a Tiesto fan but Martin Garrix will be great in George Sq.

As I've posted previously, I hope they've got some sort of crowd control in place for the George Sq gig. Tiesto is the kind of act who will attract a certain clientele. It's great that all of the tickets have already been allocated because it means they won't be able to turn out en masse. I hope George Sq is closed for a fair distance around it so people without tickets are kept away from the event.

The only thing that makes me think it's not Katy Perry is that she's not doing three nights in a row at any other point during her tour. That's the only doubt in my mind.

Drake has been another name I've suggested since the start but I don't know if he has enough 'big' songs to carry a headline set that will be broadcast live on TV and radio.

Miley Cyrus is the only other act I could think of who might headline because she's in Europe at the time but I very much doubt it.

The problem is, there aren't many 'big' pop acts around worthy of headlining status. I really hope they pull a surprise name out the bag but I really don't know.

Nah it's Katy Perry

She'l do it for the radio one promo, as it's not even part of her tour - it's the equivalent to an X Factor performance for her seeing as it's not a ticketed event that everyone has the ability to go to. She'l probably only play for an hour anyway!

Her songs have been playlisted all week and (having radio one on at work) I've heard her alot throughout the day.
