She was charging £80 for GA and £130 for golden circle BST back in 2023.

 

My guess would probably be 100 for GA, 150 Golden circle and 60-130 for seating.

Seems feasible. Anfield isn't the biggest joint in the house, but pricing is so much. If Billy Joel was about fifteen percent cheaper across the board, he'd have flogged that immediately.

Sounds cheap if you don’t mind waiting for her to come out super late, missing the end of the show when the sound is cut and being late for your train.

She allegedly told some of her fans a few months ago she’d be doing stadium tour in 2025. I imagine she’ll do Spurs or London Stadium as well.

I just cannot quite wrap my head around it. Given how fast BST went the other year, and then how fast day tickets went for R+L - albeit definitely aided by Fred again.. sharing the day - I can believe it, but I still just cannot wrap my head around it.

 

I don't believe there's been a discernible uptick in her commercial powers over the past two years? What takes her from an Other stage sub to a bona-fide stadium act, outside of landing the Coachella spot? I know she's massive on the streams, but otherwise.

Tbh i was surprised they didnt get her to headline the pyramid on the saturday, I think she could have filled the field

My mate is convinced they should have asked her to step up, but even with hindisght as the mother of invention, think they got it right leaving her atop the Other, especially after her late show.

She was always this big imo (certainly when she played Other Stage anyway), it was just an incredible coup from Glastonbury - not forgetting she was meant to be playing in 2020, so that would have helped

Oh, that's a fair point. Was she meant to be headlining Other then though? I remember her saying it was "unfathomable" she was headlining the second stage, followed by a lot of debate whether she meant that as a compliment or as an insult.

 

Either way, I seem to recall a lot of chatter and speculation she torched her reputation behind the scenes with her behaviour over the build-up and then the weekend itself. If Guns N' Roses can turn up on time and you can't... well, it's quite the moment.

Even that assumes that she was available at the point they were looking for a Pyramid headliner, which isn't known.

 

We know with reasonable confidence that in 2023 all 3 Pyramid headliners were agreed at least 9 months before the festival. It's entirely possible that Lana wasn't "on board" by that point and no guarantee that she was going to be.
