I am pleased for all of her fans on here who are looking forward to it.  I hope she is great. However saw her headline Latitude last year and it wasn’t great for, it seems, quite a chunk of the crowd. Her fans at the front were well up for it. And they are avid fans for sure. But I was a third back and it was firstly full of chatterers and then they started to leave in droves.  Her set was probably the arena set she had been touring for a while and it didn’t work that well in a big field imo. It’s very low key, moody, as you would expect. I, and it seems quite a few others, didn’t connect.

 

i really hope it is a great performance. I like her music. But it’s hope rather than expectation.

I was looking at some of the tickets that have become available for that the other day, there are some "restricted view" (like behind the line of the stage) for £31. I was tempted but now with this announcement I think I'll pass.

Looking back I don’t really think much of her 2014 set and she can’t really sing. However I also came across a post I made in this thread straight after 2014 saying she was brilliant so.

I like the albums but the one time I saw her live it didn't connect. The weather didn't help but it was dull.

Was watching this concert. Honestly I hope she improves live in the performance of Glasto because that sounds a bit terrible 😂

Just checked up with all of my glasto group.

Shes got a stronger reaction than all the mooted headliners.

I know she’s not quite at that level yet but she’s a headline style booking to my group.

She means a lot to a lot of people, and I hope that is reflected in the crowd on the evening!

i've often heard about how poor she is live, but wow, that's very bad.
