A lot of people slag her off because I reckon they find her intimidating at first. I feel if you throw yourself in and try her out her music becomes easier to listen to. I hated her at first but now I get her, and like what she does.

i'm actually really excited about seeing her. one of the acts on the lineup who i'd never pay to go and see at her own gigs yet who's music i really love. hope she nails it (although even if she doesn't, off to Jagwar Ma it is for me)

bit weird that she's still playing so little from the new album. maybe she just hasn't got round to rejigging her setlists or rehearsing it properly but just two new songs is odd

Really enjoyed it, although she looked terrified! National Anthem is a great closing track. Funny how it was gloriously sunny throughout the set, but the black clouds/heavy rain arrived literally as soon as she walked off stage.

Just watched it back, and the footage doesn't really flatter her vocal. The mix is a bit off too.

I absolutely loved Lana. We were right at the back, basking in the temporarily glorious sunshine, and I even had a little cry during Video Games.

This may be a silly question as I'm not really familiar with LDR, so apologies in advance, but if you don't go to see her for her voice, then what do you go for, given that she's a singer?

It can't be just to see her smoke tabs and look pretty.

I’ve never knowingly listened to a single one of her songs before (although I recognised several), but I thought she was absolutely wonderful. I even did a small cry.

I think the point is that if you went to concerts for a perfect vocal every time then people would just mime. Obviously you aren't going to be happy if an artist's voice is horrific when you go to see them but you go for the performance and atmosphere too.

In the same way that you don't just go to glastonbury to hear some voices.

Personally, I think she's improved loads in the past few years live and I didn't notice her voice not holding up when I was there, it was my highlight of the whole festival.

I'm not a massive fan of hers, but do like the odd song. The show was exactly as I was expecting it to be and I quite enjoyed it sat in my chair at the back of the field.
