So this my first festival and I am so excited.

Have been lurking on hear for a while and there are so many tips! Love it.

So looking for advice, my husband has to be at work Monday morning 9am (boo!)

We live approx. an hour’s drive away. We don’t want to miss out on Sunday headliners, so debating on staying & getting some shut eye (if possible) about 12/1am then heading off home about 6am. Packing up as much as possible Sunday evening.

What’s your thoughts, is it carnage getting out that early? Or do we bite the bullet and leave Sunday evening (no drinking for hubby though Sunday)

Any advice off you guys from past experience?

Hello and welcome to the forums, You'll find its usually busy getting out Sunday night after the acts finish but not too bad, that time on Monday morning you'll have no trouble getting out at all, a majority of the people staying till Monday will get up at their leisure, have a cuppa an a bite to eat then do their packing.

Get as much stuff packed up as you can on sunday morning, that way you'll only have your tent to drop and sleeping stuff to roll up, then off you go!

I'd even consider taking as much stuff as you can to the car.

If you wanted a better nights sleep you could always camp up in the quieter field. It's the same price bracket as general camping but obviously not as wild !

Cheers both, yeah ive heard it maybe an idea to go for the quiet field.

Think packing up as much as I can sunday in the car, is a good option.

last year was in emporers, left late monday morning, drove off site in about 5mins, no traffic anywhere
