Your own festival

Lets say we are all millionaires from Dubai and as festival lovers we decide it's a good idea to host a music festival over the course of 3 days.

You have given yourself a budget of £8,000,000 for the headliners and must book 3 of course, unless you fancy doing a co-headling (for the first time in history) ;).

Give the three acts or four you would go for and the price you would attempt to get for each. You want the festival to sell out to create a good atmosphere etc.

EDIT: Personally this year i would go for the following:

Queens of the Stone Age: 2,000,000

Libertines: 4,000,000

Prodigy: 2,000,000

What the hell do the funds represent? It's not as if we have a strong clue as to pricings of different headliners (I know there are some reports around about specific costs)

Anyway:

Talking Heads: £7.9m

Tool: 95k

Meanwhile Back in Communist Russia: 5k

Canadian flannel shirt wearing (in a way that's so unaware of the connotations that it's not even ironic) Sub Pop 'rock' band £5000

Icelandic hipster flavour of the month £5000

Beck £3000

Would be a nice friendly atmosphere as the couple of hundred people who turned up to listen to the music would probably all already know each other from the internet, and the rest could all stand at the back comparing their fake glasses and boating pumps.

Maybe pay Lauren Laverne an appearance fee to mince around looking all twee and give the event same fake credibility.

Even with such a small crowd could probably recoup the above outlay on t-shirts that said something like 'this is the only time these three have headlined together and this t-shirt is only available to people who can prove that they've been to this event so if someone's wearing it they're very special and know lots about music', or something like that.

Probably throw a few knock-off post-rock bands on the undercard that the South Coast blogging clique can get their knickers in a twist over, bit of free advertising and all that.

Beer sales would obviously be poor but would heavily over-commercialise all other aspects of the festival, firstly to make as much profit as possible and secondly to make the experice as miserable as possible for everyone. THERE WON'T BE ONE NEXT YEAR SO YOUR SCATHING INTERNET REVIEWS WILL BE USELESS
