Lesser known bands - Any recommendations

Theres been enough moaning about this years line up, with that in mind does anyone have any recommendations of any of the bands on smaller stages or lower down the card on the main stage ? Must be some hidden gems lurking on there somewhere.

This doesn`t really count as he`s not a band but I had forgotten all about Zane Lowe being announced. Would expect he will be on after the bands have finished and by all accounts his festival playlist is good for some late night shuffling.

I have been giving The Hummingbirds a bit of a listen.

The Showhawk Duo. Have already posted their Faithless stuff in the old skool thread. Something a bit different but for me a nice way to pass an hour at a festival.

When your watching your vid on youtube click " share ". The link that starts http will then highlight.

Right click on the link then left click on " copy ".

Come back to your post on here. Bring the cursor thingy down to below what you`ve typed by left clicking underneath your words and then right click and the full link will appear.

When you click " post " the vid will be there. Hopefully this makes sense ! Not sure if there is a quicker/ easier way ?

Saw them at the bbc Cumbria introducing at Kendal brewery arts - they were excellent. Didn't even realise on line. Would highly recommend. Would also recommend mylittlebrother who played same night - really enjoyed their set.

I reckon that band called 'Tickets On Sale Now' could be worth seeing. It seems like they're playing nearly every festival this summer.

U.S Alt Country Disco band. "Perverse preachers, like The Waltons on drugs!

Is there description of them selfs, we got a couple of there albums after seeing them.

Are The Heavy classed as a lesser known band? If so check them out because they are superb. Finally got to see them live at T last year and even with the half 1 slot there was still a decent crowd and a good bouncy.
