I am looking for a campervan pass, is anyone selling them? ###################

thanks

Please remove e mail address from your post. There is a list you can be added to once you have done so. I would suggest you read the 1st post in this thread instead of just asking "is anyone selling them?"

Thanks

PS I have had your e mail removed by the mods, If you want adding please reply.

UPDATE TO EVERYONE
I will post in this thread if I am aware passes are back on sale, however due to the amount of you wanting them I will not have time to DM/reply to you individually.
Please DM me your e mail address if you want to be included in group mailings. Please DO NOT post your e mail address in this thread.
Alternatively you can subscribe to this thread and get instant updates when a new post is added. :)

This is an awesome idea - many thanks Stonecircle! Would be great if I can be added to the list for a West Camper ticket. Like so many I have my van back on the road but missed out on tickets in teh resale.. Thansk!

Efesters, I have a question for you. We seem to be getting inundated in requests to be added to the list from new forum members. I welcome new members who contribute, but a lot of these who ask to be added to the list and have not been heard from since, nor are they following the thread.

I don't want any regulars to miss out which is why I started this thread, it is becoming a bit of chore I have to say!

I welcome your feedback/suggestions/insults......

Thanks :)

I think that what you suggest is perfectly fair & those who are visiting the forum on a regular basis should get first dibs on the tickets.

Having said that, having a list based on the order in which people asked for tickets is a pretty good starting point as many of us who only got tickets in the resale couldn't get a pass beforehand.

Hopefully next week a number will be available & the number wanting them will reduce dramatically.

Thanks again for doing this

Is my latest update shown in bold below & on the 1st post (not that anyone reads it) fair? I don't want any regulars to miss out which is why I started this thread, it is becoming a bit of chore I have to say!

"Please note - non active posters (ie under 5 posts and not logged in since requesting to be added) will now be removed from the list after 10 days, sorry but this is for forum users. "

I welcome your feedback/suggestions/insults......

Thanks :)

For me, simplicity works. Adding complexity or rules that are likely to exclude means newbies will want to find another route to their situation (often by posting separately and offering a premium).

Last year i contacted people, in order, via efests or other details if they'd provided them, if they didn't respond in a reasonable timeframe, they were assumed to have been sorted and taken off the list. That to me was how you 'rewarded' the regular visitors.

A newbie is more likely to become a regular if they're welcomed in, treated the same and have a positive experience.

Hi All,

I am in the same boat, I see that the OP cannot add people who are not regular posters but I would appreciate it if I could be added. I am after a East Campervan ticket as I only got a caravan yesterday for me, my wife and two kids.

Any advice would be great. Thanks Chris.

Have to agree with this, I would be gutted if I was excluded as I am not on here all the time.

Hi All,

Really grateful for this - such a great idea. Never knew it existed before this year. I guess we have been lucky in past years and always managed to get Campervan passes at the same time as tickets. Is there a sudden glut of Campervan passes that become available ? Will Seetickets be selling any more at any stage ? Keeping fingers crossed for East pass.

Yes, there will be a glut of availability starting in about a weeks time all the way upto the days before. And in years gone by supply has always, eventually, met demand. Although if you're one of the ones waiting right up until the week before it can be a bit nervy!

If See Tickets sell any more it's likely to be a very small quantity based on returns after the 9th May deadline. I would still keep an eye on this option as i notice that the 'east campervan' option is still present when you go through, albeit with 'sold out' next to it. Almost as if they expect to maybe switch it back on.

Thank you to those who have taken the time to reply. I will update the list later today having taken on board your comments.

Once again many thanks to Bonedaddy for his wisdom, I have a couple of questions for you below :)

We certainly don't want to encourage people to offer extra or start new posts!

What do you see as a reasonable time frame before offering to the next person on the list and removing them? How did you contact people to make the exchange/sale? :thankyou:

Oooh, I'd definitely be up for this, as I too missed out on a campervan ticket. :(

EDIT: And how do I subscribe to a thread? Am I being a massive internet know-nothing? Apologies!

EDIT 2: Sorry, think I found it, the 'follow' thingy?!
