2014 Campervan Tickets - Those in need...

Yes, there will be a glut of availability starting in about a weeks time all the way upto the days before. And in years gone by supply has always, eventually, met demand. Although if you're one of the ones waiting right up until the week before it can be a bit nervy!

If See Tickets sell any more it's likely to be a very small quantity based on returns after the 9th May deadline. I would still keep an eye on this option as i notice that the 'east campervan' option is still present when you go through, albeit with 'sold out' next to it. Almost as if they expect to maybe switch it back on.

Once again many thanks to Bonedaddy for his wisdom, I have a couple of questions for you below

We certainly don't want to encourage people to offer extra or start new posts!

What do you see as a reasonable time frame before offering to the next person on the list and removing them? How did you contact people to make the exchange/sale?

I contacted people via efests dm and asked them for their email and mobile (to be passed onto the seller) and got myself a 'stock' of half a dozen peoples contact details at any one time. If anyone took more than a couple of evenings to respond i'd cross them out as not active. Like someone else has said, if you're after one, you probably just need to put the effort in to logon every night or so. I had a spreadsheet with all the comms in for a seller or a buyer ready to copy and paste into messages, so it was all quite time-efficient! (making myself sound like some OCD freak now, i'm not, i just like a good spreadsheet!!)

Then as soon as there was a seller i gave them the direct contact details of the next person on the list and asked them to confirm when they'd sorted arrangements and then crossed buyer and seller off the list.

Whilst they are non-transferable, they don't carry the purchasers details or photo and as such because (on here at least) we're all swapping or selling at face value i've never known an issue arise.
