New band announcement this week!

As per the title there's a new band announcement coming this week. Twitter said it might be split across 2 announcements so could have quite a few names on it.

Comeback kid self-confirmed a few days ago so probably will include them. Believe Turbowolf were on some press releases for the last announcement too despite not being announced. Machine Head apparently have tour announcements tomorrow and Wedsnesday so they might be involved.

Anyone heard anything else or hoping to see anyone else added?

Machine Head had agreed to play Soni last year but I heard since that they pulled out as were gunna tour late 2014 instead, things change all the time though, so who knows maybe its back on, but I doubt it.

Comeback Kid is an excellent booking.

Looks like Richie Sambora will be playing, announced one date in Glasgow 3rd July.

Would love if they could get Faith No More and slot them between AIC and Metallica to make up for 2012. Unfortunately don't see it happening despite them being in the same country that weekend.

Sambora into bonamassa will be sweet. This year is some of the best undercard booking I think I've ever seen at a festival (that isn't Glastonbury).

I dunno. Think the 3rd and 4th stage at DL has some crackers, but the 1st and 2nd are proper pants (besides 2nd on Friday for that Bad Religion, Offspring Flogging Molly run), for me anyways. Line up has turned out okay though besides having a rubbish start, so they've done alright!

Anyways wonder if Turbowolf will turn up at soni, apparently they were on some websites on the last announcement but not on the official one, but have now turned up at Download. In saying that, the size of band that they are, they'll probably end up at both.

Because one of them is 14 and the others are 16? I get that the whole idol culture in Japan to some fans can get a bit peverse but that's down to the fans, what they're doing doesn't seem particularly peverse in anyways...much much less so than teen stars in Western culture that nobody bats an eyelid at...

Don't really get the hype, but since that stuff went viral there's been loads of people asking for them and considering it's an act that just sold outBudokan in Japan 2 nights in a row (40,000 tickets) it'll get them a lot of worldwide media attention for their first show over here, so seems like a pretty solid booking for the tent. Might go see it out of curiosity.
