Got loads of prep done yesterday in the sun, put up 3 of the 6 tents we'll be taking to check them over. Elastic needed tightening on some of the poles and a couple of little holes in the tent bags needed gaffa taping so glad I did it! Also tried out my new campsite flagpole but didn't realise I needed to buy stakes separately so got them ordered and will try again next week. Also washed all the cooking gear and started on the packing! AND I ran the race for life this morning and I'm not usually even awake til Sunday afternoons!

This weekend has been a Glastonbury dry run. A nice weekend with festival friend grumpy hack at wychwood. Sun, great bands, beer, food relaxed atmosphere. All getting in readiness for main event.briefly bumped into efests Neil and Ian the worm. Hope your enjoying too

I've spent the last two days shopping with my friend! Went to Camden yesterday and decided it's just like a festival there but without the music and today went to a "cheap" shopping centre..... Hounslow!!! not the best of places but got demi shorts for a fiver can't go wrong...

So now I have 3 tops and a pair of shorts.... Still in need of dresses/skirts and a cardi.....

More shopping tomorrow.... Wimbledon I feel will be fun.....

Got the Festival Pram down off the shed wall( where its been hanging since 2010 our last festival).. found its wheels, think it needs new inner tubes.had a run round the garden .3 year old loves it cant believe 7 year old was the same size as him last Glastonbury !!!!

Next task .. going to go through all the lists on here ..and see what needs to go on mine!!!!

Anyway, cleaned the tent, sleeping bag, trolley and boots after the hammering they all took at a wet Bearded Theory last weekend. Re-waterproofed tent afterwards - can never be too careful what with Glasto falling in the middle of the third June monsoon.

Still debating over which tent to buy, popups are more convenient for putting away. But aren't very easy to travel with.

Ok, it was Friday but I bought a crap tent, crap sleeping bag and spare battery for my crap phone off eBay. Should all be arriving at various points this week hopefully.. I've got a good tent but figured as far as luggage goes if I downgraded on tent I could upgrade on booze.. Flawless plan.
