What have you done today to get ready for Glasto?

We didn't see any damaged, I heard it was in the Stables Market, which we wondered around there was some scaffolding up but the market was in full flow.

I totally agree with you, it's odd how there has been two fires in such a short space of time.....

I remember going there in the 80's with my parents, It was crazy back then and not so "clinical" as it is now everything in order.

Saw a amazing Banksy of Amy Winehouse......

Went through Barcelona airport last night and picked up these:

Two litres of 47.3% gin (the stuff you get over here is weaker, right?) for just over twenty quid. And in plastic bottles too. A match made in heaven. Now to completely forget it exists for three weeks.

They also had 70cls of strong absinthe for under a tenner but I decided I'd rather live to see next month.

Yesterday, had a practise put up the tent to air it out (still contained genuine Glasto mud from last year) and then practised getting my legs and arms sunburnt by not putting any lotion on.

Worked a treat (and the tent wasn't as smelly as I feared)

I've just cancelled my winebank account with Virgin Wines, so I've got £75 to spend on various Glastonbury related shtuff!! Gonna have a mooch about on ebay to find any decent tee's and check out any drink offers online.

I've also got to do a trial run for the spare tent I'm taking for my German friends who aren't coming over till the Thursday.

Finally settled on a tent.

Picked this up after work: http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/1578191/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CSports+and+Leisure%7C33006346/c_2/2%7C33006346%7CCamping+and+caravanning%7C33007546/c_3/3%7Ccat_33007546%7CTents%7C33015221.htm

Set it up in the garden (only took two people twenty minutes :P).

But its a decent size, blackend sleeping compartment for those long nights and a massive porch area :D

This was yesterday, but still...ordered 2 army surplus ponchos, I threw mine away when I left the country which was really dumb. They're useful for sitting on as much as any dreaded wet weather. Also went shopping with my bf for new hiking boots..he doesn't want to be stuck in wellies all weekend this year. We're getting prepared for all weather eventualities..
