the issue is that a minority define those things at the most extreme view?   If you have an issue with people who have been through male puberty fighting women you are a transphobe   If you want an investigation into the grooming gang coverup you are an islamophobe   If you criticise israeli foreign policy you are an antisemite etc..

Whenever Rihanna comes on the radio, I can't help myself. I just have to get up and start moving across the room to switch it off.

Isn’t the issue that people are taking extreme of the argument and not willing to consider the argument of the other side. This leads to people becoming more entrenched in their views and more defensive. I feel there has been fault on both sides of the debate because it is complex.
