Fuck yeah! That trial has got me going! You have got to love Tyrion. He is a diamond

They better not go off on an hour long "tangent" next week and not touch this trial. Gripping stuff.

As King Guard does Jamie now have to fight in honor of Joff and will Tyrion have Bron fight his pupil? Will Jamie be put in a position that the only way he can save his brother is to sacrifice himself? Oh man...........7 days it too long to wait for this shit to hit the fan. Super stuff

Marvellous episode! <apart from the obligatory desperately dull dany scene>

Please god dont let it be a bronn v jaime duel to the death. It is kind of set up for that though. Gutted if one of them dies, but I suppose it has been a while since a major character bit the dust (at least 3 episodes now...)

I'm not entirely sure how lily allens brothers sister is supposed to have escaped from those dogs though...

I won't write it here, but if you look at the episode titles for the series you can get the answers to your trial questions (if you don't want a spoiler, then don't look). I think ThomThom may be right about a tangent episode, or at least a build up episode.

Dinklage was just superb in that episode, and part of me thought that the acting in the rest of the trial was poor, but then thought on it and the witnesses were meant to be making it up and reading memorised lines.

Am really liking Oberyn too - the actor they have gets some much more out of the character than GRRM's writing.

Did get a little chill at the first scene with the ship sailing into Braavos.

I thought it was a bit dull and the court scene was a bit cheesy to be honest. I'm guessing the bit where Tyrrion turns on the crowd and goes against the plan and demands trial by combat was supposed to be dramatic, wasn't feeling it really. Good to see Jamie/Jaime's internal struggles/realisations though. Can't remember his name but the character of the guy who was/is torturing Theon really is something else, genuinely uneasy to watch.

It certainly does raise some questions about those that Tyrion thought were close to him.

Tywin and Cercei were after Shae before Tyrion thought he'd managed to get her to the boat, maybe they bought off Bronn and have had her since then and realised this would be a good time to use her for something.

I don't think we've seen him since Tyrion was arrested, last time was training Jaime to use his sword left-handed?

He spared with Jamie after the arrest and it was he who asked Jamie to visit Tyrion in the dungeon. He also told Jamie then that Tyrion named him (Jamie) as his champion back in the Eyrie before he picked Bronn.

I really do like to think Bronn is loyal to Tyrion, but he is a mercenary so may be bought. However the last time we saw him he was very much looking out for Tyrion as it seems.

I'd picked up on some tension/resentment between the two, weren't there some quips from Tyrion about him being a mercenary only after money when talking about him training Jaime? And something said about Bronn not visiting him to someone? If Tyrion thinks that Bronn had something to do with Shae not getting away from Kings Landing then I guess he'll look for someone else to fight for him.

Ah yes, well remembered. Ignore my previous comment!

Tyrion asked Pod to get Bronn when in prison but Pod told him he was under investigation and couldnt come... I dont know if there was anything sinister in that but we will find out.

Anyway all I know is that Tywin will not be a happy bunny, nor Cersei, if Jamie gets dragged into this dual one way or the other.

I think Bronn has had a kind of respect for Tyrion since the first time they encountered each other when he was Caitlin Stark's captive, that has only strengthened as time has gone on and couldn't see him stabbing Tyrion in the back. There is something about GoT that the most dishonourable characters also are the most moral in other ways.
