Arya Stark wasn't super intresting this week but I did love her shouting "c**t" to that other girl, just needed set up mainly I guess.

Yeah, that and Varys saying "fucking crate" in the first episode was also a highlight, him being so softly spoken and obsequious it really jarred in a good way to hear him swear with a little venom.

I'm one of the people who watched the first 4 episodes, so I've missed being able to discuss the show with people because of me accidentally spoiling something. Looking forward to episode 5

The Sansa storyline took a turn I wasn't expecting with the revelation that the marriage proposal wasn't for Baelish. There is a fascinating story to unfold there I hope, she's really not the timid child with dreams of princes and knights any more.

Also Jon Snuuuurrrr being offered the John Stark title I loved. I had never had the thought in my head that one day he might be Lord John Stuuuuurk.

Oh, and I hate the Red woman. I hope that bitch gets hers at some point

I didnt find it slow at all, I thought it was paced perfectly, TWD drags in a very special way all of its own. I stopped TWD halfway through the last season, and dont miss it at all, and funnily enough my missus (who still watches) hasnt said to me "you should give it another go".

Off topic but I hated TWD until Terminus, basically you watched all the boring stuff and stopped just as the show picked-up.

- the period between terminus and that death was dull enough to convince me to stop.

the brief time at terminus was the most interesting bit for ages. IMHO of course.

The rebellion at dany's city feels quite pointless too. Does anyone really give a shit about these cities she is ruling? We are just waiting for her to get on a boat and head over to westeros arent we? I couldnt even care if grey worm and that old bloke are dead. Meh to the whole damn lot of them.

That bit where she said you know nothing john snurr, was that a coincidence or has she been communing with the dead or something?

I think grey worm is alive, the other fella whose name escapes me is dead. I've never really seen the point in him anyway.

That scene with Stannis and his daughter was the one I referred to a while back. I thought it was actually pretty moving, and it was a great insight into his character. I think I can see where that storyline is going, and it's going to be an interesting conflict.

Let's put it this way, here's a list of things we now know:

• Stannis would go to the end of the earth and back for his daughter.
• Stannis' wife has no affection for their daughter and thinks she's weak.
• Stannis' wife is all about that Melisandre.
• Stannis' daughter has royal blood.*
• Melisandre is all about that royal blood.

*No, not the band with the disappointing debut album.

Stannis has the honour of Ned Stark, the intractability of Tywin Lannister and the onscreen presence of a hard nosed cop from a 70s TV show. Really looking forward to seeing more of him, the Boltons and how things play out in the north now. That scene at the end of the last series where his army rode in at the wall was one of my favourite moments.

Anyone else cringe when Sansa said Lord Bolton was evil (or words to that effect)? She has nooo idea what's she in for. I liked the sound of Lord Baelish's prediction for her though. Jon and Stannis need to get their arses in gear before her head (or some other body part) ends up on a spike

A great episode, but I imagine that a lot of the book readers must be pretty frustrated - I don't think any of that was in the text.

Saying that, do like the direction it's going and like the unpredictability now, as haven't a scoobies what going to happen in some stories. Some of the plots are better than the book, as they link the different stories together better.

I reckon that Grey Worm will survive, as if both of them peg it, then there's only Daario and the Hollyoaks girl left advising Dany.

Don't like how they're setting up a Jaime / Brienne romance though - him staring whistfully over a Tarth was terrible.

I want brienne to die more than any other character.

I totally did not see that as a love interest thing! More that he was yearning for the time with her when he wasn't at Cersei's beck and call, and was also appreciating he was only alive because of her

Another enjoyable episode. Some great dialogue.

Loving Cerseis revenge.

The sparrows have seemed to come out of no where.

Love the fact that the unsullied were just useless at fighting except Grey Worm. That really didn't work as they are meant to be all fighting machines. Not many of them either, as before we saw massive army of them.
