Spindles
In a way it is a shame because it is so obvious, in another it is a satisfying story arc. Whatchagonnado?

Winslow Leach
Excellent episode this week. The showrunners are really streamlining things back down to a few core plotlines now, which I like. I do feel a bit sorry for Kevan Lannister to be honest. I get the impression that under any even vaguely normal circumstances he might actually be quite a good person to have in charge of stuff. bunique
Yay for Littlefinger's brief return - assuming he will atone for fucking over Sansa by lending his armies against Winterfell now. The Sansa/Jon reunion was rather lovely. Have to say though, even with her baps out I couldn't care less about ye olde Scaly Mother. Looks like plenty of battle scenes ahead. Also - Brienne and Mr Gingerbeard, sitting in a tree...?!
FloorFiller
my friend was in the process of saying 'i'm glad they brought the wildling woman back' and then BAM, knife to the neck. good episode. even though nothing particularly huge has happened i feel like they're handling the slower episodes a lot better this series than last, where it seemed like absolutely fuck all was happening for absolutely ages. looks like it's heating up to a (hopefully) big battle pretty soonish

Hugh Jass
Am I the only one who's actually starting to get a little bored now? Feels like we're seeing the same things over and over again. Oh look, Ramsey's killed someone shockingly. Gasp! Danyreas has conquered another group of people! I love the show but I'm starting to feel like it's going round in circles. In a previous series I'd imagine Sansa would have arrived a Castle Black by around episode 8.
LondonTom
OSHA! Damn you Ramsey, damn you to hell! Glad to finally see some good news for the Starks for once!! Quite like the fan theory going around that the Ramsey letter to Jon Snur might be a fake sent by other families in the North to get Jon and Sansa to launch an attack? Daenerys bits felt a bit like same old, same old but I enjoyed Ser Joraj and Daario's sneaking around. I really hope the fanatics give the Laniesters a good hiding but Margaery and Loras manage to get free.
ToffeePopcorn
I was very sleep deprived when watching it so maybe that added to it; but I was quite bored throughout, I agree it's building up to something but just getting pissed off with Cersei pretending she has power. Jamie has died as a character - no personality. Dany needs to be brought down a peg, if I have to hear her recite her name one more f*cking time. But I really enjoyed the Jon/Sansa Reunion so there's that
Spindles
Tormund's eyes on Brienne was a classic moment, definitely worth keeping her alive for. Maybe she reminds him of the bear he claims he fucked. Danaerys' victory and recruitment of the entire Dothraki nation was inevitable, so I get that the impact was reduced for people, but as soon as you saw those oversize torches right by either hand you could see how it was going to go. Theon and co are totally off script now, I have no idea what is going to become of the Iron Islanders plotline. Cersei has regained power and control pretty damned quickly, turning Lady Olenna like that was a masterstroke, as I see it now she has the upper hand right up until the inevitable death of Tommen. Wooderson
This series has been very disappointing thusfar imo. The Castle Black storyline the only bankable storyline. What a cavernous yawn the Daenerys plotline has been. Kicking the tyres for like, 3 series. I don't care if its like that in the books. Huge waste of time. By comparison, Baelish's appearance this week v welcome indeed. More of him needed ASAP.
swede
I think this season is shaping up nicely. Handled right the battle of the bastards and the battle in kings landing should be epic, the battle of the bastards is said to be the biggest one they've ever shot, and considering how epic hardhome was that's saying something. Loved this weeks episode, the letter reading by Jon and Sansa was brilliantly done, truly nasty stuff on paper by Ramsey. I for one loved the Danny scene, just wish she'd get to westeros now. Tormund is my new favourite character after the last two episodes, although I don't know who'd ruin who if he hooked up with Briane Edited May 17, 2016 by swede
