i realise this, but we're 33 hours into it now. That's quite a lot of time.

What has Daenerys done it that time? Got some dragons and some buddies and walked around a lot

Can you imagine the feeding of that lot though, would take ages to collect. bet there are grumbles in the camp when she collects more slaves. Lucky we don't see all that.

as for the Whitewalkers (apart from the ones that were at Castle Black) They look old, so I can imagine the service station stops on the way down from the north that's take ages

Bran is piss poor it has to be said. It's amazing that such a cool power can be made to seem so shit and dull.

I assume he will be able to take over Dragons at some point. Hopefully that will turn him mad and bad

In fact I want one of the final scenes to be Bran, older, sat nakid on a throne, in the Frozen north ,covered in deep ugly scars that make you feel ill, eyes in the back of his head, screaming an unearthly scream that makes the viewers bone marrow freeze and hurt. While he bends to his will the minds and bodies of dragons, humans, and all creatures of all the lands

Well the Bran story has finally got somewhere. Enjoyable enough episode.

The White Walkers story has developed somewhat also which was interesting. The baby stuff freaks me out but.

Jamie really is coming good. It will be very interesting to see how that works out for him.

And the Dany story yet again was nothing exceptional (nothing at all really). It really does have to push on from were its at at the moment to hold attention

Coming good how? I assumed he sent Brienne out to search for Sansa because Cersei asked? I agree he's a lot more interesting but not sure I'd say 'good'!

Felt a bit like a chess game last night, lots of pieces moving around but not a lot of moving forward. Enjoyable all the same. White Walkers were suitably freaky. And isn't granny Tyrell a scheming so and so? :D

I thought the Dany bit where she ignored her counsel and decided on vengeance rather than mercy was quite telling - the Dany of series one wouldn't have I don't think. Like she's believing her own hype these days, which I'm assuming will lead to bad things at some point!

I thought it was a good episode, a little bit uneventful, but hell - TWD is like that 8 episodes out of every 10. Some good setup for future events. I was surprised that they didn't keep us guessing a bit longer over who killed Joffrey, but not entirely surprised as to who was behind it. Dany does need to start making some serious moves though. Surely her army is big enough now to make the journey to Kings Landing and storm toward the iron throne.

Poor old Hodor, I think he might well end up being a bit of a hero when Jon Snow arrives with his band of volunteers.

I enjoyed it.

Was correct about the Tyrells but for the wrong reason.

Anyone else go "no they can't" when Margaery entered Tommens bedroom

and different white walkers now (all very superman that scene) which I didn't expect, looked like a council of them.

And also feelsorry for Hodor, hope he breaks some heads later

Not the best episode, imo.

No mention of the rape at all? Are we supposed to think it never happened?

The scene with margaery and tommen was just cringey. Is she actually going to seduce him? I know she obviously has to win him over, but is sex really the best way to go about it. When I was 12 I hated girls!

Dany's scene was boring. We didnt even see a battle! At least lets see some actual fighting, with the dragons tearing the place up. But no, just another walkover. Yawn.

I never thought the goings on in the north would be the highlight but it was tonight. It's set up nicely for jon snow to kick the ass of that nasty man who's captured his brother.

Thought the episode was fascinating.

BTW it was never the intention of the show runners (producers/director/actors) to depict a rape.

Well they did a shite job at that. Have to agree with Russy here. I thought it felt like they just got on with it. A normal level of tension between the pair in their scene to the same extent as there had been prior to the "rape". Was odd.

I was thinking to myself "do we just accept rape in the world of GOT even when its the Queen (or whatever she is at the moment)"

Sorry. Poor choice of words. Not Good as in Good Vs Evil (I dont think there is anyone good in that sense in GOT anyway. We have our favorites and those we love to hate), but good as in he and the story he is involved in is coming "good". More intriguing and complex. I see Jamie having a few dilemmas knock upon his door soon enough, which is good from a viewing POV

A shite job is an understatement. Lots of pals of mine said the scene has ruined the series for them.

He didn't send her out to search for Sansa as Cersei asked (to kill her), he sent her out to search for Sansa to protect her. He's realising that what he's been involved in for most of his life is distasteful, and is moving away from Cersie and trying to redeem himself, starting with keeping his word to Caitlyn Stark that he gave in order to secure his freedom.

That's my take on it anyway, he's coming good by turning away from his sister and father.

I don't think so - the look on his face as he sent Brienne on her way said to me he knew he was fooling her for his own ends. I'm not sure he'll hand her over, but I think he sent them for Cersei

I guess that could be an option, but it seems that ever since his return to King's Landing the show has gone out of it's way to demonstrate his strained relationship with Cersei and his compassion towards his brother. I think there's something in that, and I think this is an example of him trying to make the rest of his time worthwhile by doing the opposite of what he was known for previously. I took that look on his face of being someone who was struggling with the concept of actually doing something good and unselfish, and also sending away one of his only true friends and someone he respects and thus leaving him alone in what he is increasingly realising is a shitty position surrounded by people he no longer likes in King's Landing.

My money's on him being a good 'un, and I think it's going to be an interesting storyline finding out.

As I mentioned before, there really is no "good" guys in GOT. Just different levels of favourability and hatred toward characters. Jamie can never be good in the true sense of "good versus evil".

We can however begin to favour him more as his character becomes more complex and he deals with internal dilemmas.
