what is the current rule in taking food into V?

Not been to V for a few years and never as a non camper.

Myself and the wife have picked up weekend non camping tickets, she loves her pop and me the 90s guitar bands on offer.

Do they let you take food and drink into the arena?

drinks are officially banned.. although last year when they asked us to empty our bottles they let through the gates to do so and we just stood there for a while and never actually emptied them

no idea about food but it's not the most expensive stuff in the world, at least if you avoid 'V Healthy'

Oh cool.

It's not so much the expense, this will be the wife's first festival and she's ultra picky what she eats.

Me? I eat any shit festivals can throw at me.

Been to V a fair few times, going this year too for the girlfriends birthday as she loves a bit of pop herself and I'll go for the bands i like and just a good weekend really.

If she is picky about food be sure to check out healthy V, more expensive yes but it is hella lot nicer than the crappy flat burger you'll get for 4.50. You can get everything from risotto, stone baked pizzas and pealla there and its all freshly made and tastes like fairly decent restaurant food
