hi, i cant decide wether to go to reading or IOW. im 16 and going with friends and we have heard that IOW has a lot of old people, is this true? whats reading like for someone my age, is there a lot of people my age?

i like both line ups just as much so the atmosphere and age groups are the deciders

From what I gather, Reading is more aimed at younger people, and has less older people.

Look at both line ups, then count up all the acts that you want to see. Categorise them into 3 groups, acts you're desperate to see (3 points), acts you'd pay to see but not desperate to see (2 points) and acts you wouldn't mind seeing (1 point). Add up the points and go with the highest.

Also consider where your mates are going and on site entertainment

IOW is basically a family festival, I went with my parents when I was 10. I'd go again if the lineup was decent but if you like both lineups equally and you're 16, go to Reading. I did the post-GCSE results Reading last year and had one of the best weekends of my life. You'll love it.
