I had one of those NME Essential Bands compilation albums in 2006 (yes I was a pretty #indie 11 year old), and for some reason my dad listened to it on his own in the car one day and found that Party at Boothy's House song on it, and subsequently played it on every single fucking car journey for a year.

Then again I listened to St. Jude by The Courteeners on the way to and from every cricket match for an entire Summer, at which point I was playing 5 games a week. Worst time of my life.
