Ross Dawson, the drummer from Late Of The Pier has died.

RIP to a brialliant, not forgotten, noughties indie classic :(

Was gutted to hear this :(

The band seemed so short lived to! Utterly brilliant....and then nothing! I didn't even manage to get to see them live!

They started before Fratellis you muppet.

Coincidentally, their debut albums came out the same day. What a bad day for music that was.

I just remember hearing that Generator song on the radio and assuming it was a new Fratellis song, then finding out it was The Holloways and never hearing anything else about them.

I was listening to Maximo Park the other day and was wondering what actually happened to them. They were genuinely better than most of the other bands around then.

In fact, my first ever gig was Kaiser Chiefs supported by them and The Cribs. It didn't get more 2005 than that.
