What happened to Late Of The Pier? I've been wondering this with Jamie T's reappearance.

Was listening to my iPod on shuffle, imagine my joy when this song hit me for the first time in about 4 years.

That was probably my least favourite of theirs, even though the album all sounded quite similar. Too Fake was fab though.

I listened to this by The Crimea the other day. Still great fun:

He'll only be like 30-odd as well, such terrible news and thoughts are with friends and family.

If anyone's not checked out their album, do, as it's excellent. Sam Dust is doing his own stuff as LA Priest now if you wanna check that out too.

The band seemed so short lived to! Utterly brilliant....and then nothing! I didn't even manage to get to see them live!

I just remember hearing that Generator song on the radio and assuming it was a new Fratellis song, then finding out it was The Holloways and never hearing anything else about them.

Both are hugely underrated bands because of their "hits" I feel

I was listening to Maximo Park the other day and was wondering what actually happened to them. They were genuinely better than most of the other bands around then.

In fact, my first ever gig was Kaiser Chiefs supported by them and The Cribs. It didn't get more 2005 than that.
