Pop Pea
Me and my fellow popsters are a bit sad. This years 10th anniversary lineup is a bit underwhelming for us 90s pop fans. We've gone every year since the 2nd one (and had a thoroughly excellent time) but don't think we shall attend this year - sniff - where has our music gone? Every year we've been thrilled to see someone from our indie-disco-days! Where is this years Bluetones / Divine Comedy / Badly Drawn Boy / Wedding Present / Wonderstuff / Beat / Human league / Dreadzone / Fun Lovin' Criminals / Charlatans / James / Camera Obscura / Super Furries / Supergrass / Lightning Seeds / Happy Mondays (not that good actually!) - We drank ale and cider in the sun and wobbled and swayed to top pop tunes of our youth. Maybe they cost too much to book? I dunno, I'm sure the sun will shine and the vibe will be friendly and I'll miss it badly. Everyone have a beautiful time - Hopefully back on form next year! Peas. ian the worm
I think its hard for any event management team to please everybody all of the time so you have my sympathies as you sound very passionate about this. But some questions to me arise: Who would you have booked if you were them? Do you not like discovering new "younger" bands? Did you only attend Wychwood for the bands? Which festival will you go to instead? Cheesy peas.
grumpyhack
I'm still going. It's a good shakedown for Glastonbury to test equipment, including my new caravan. Still a nice vibe. The Levellers, Railroad Bill, Thrill Collins, Graham Gouldman and bit of Ska will be enough to keep me happy.
eFestivals
whoops ... tried to send Yougert a PM, and instead managed to mark him as a spammer, which has deleted his most recent posts. Sorry Kev.(I've of course undone all I can from my error, but I can't restore the posts unfortunately).
