I think The Libertines are pretty unlikely tbh, they are reforming solely for the money and they haven't been shy about it. I'd happily be proven wrong though, would be awesome to see them again!

Tbh it's impossible trying to predict this so early but i'll definitely come back to this thread a lot more closer to the time to look for some decent info, because at the festival itself obviously all i'm gonna get is 'Omg do you know it's Daft Punk, with David Bowie, Prince, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles doing a combined secret slot'

What suggests coldplay are more likely then?

Opening the festival with an hour lulluby isnt what people expect, just cant see coldplay in this slot

And theyd like to do glastonbury but logistically might be an issue (standard stuff, bluffing )

And, even though Pete (a shambolic crackhead) is a member of their band, none of them are stupid enough to name their child Apple. Just an afterthought

Think libertines tickets are selling quite well. Belter than some cynics expected anyway

I think if libertines did this it would shift a few extra thousand tickets plus warm them up. I think Coldplay will be saved for headliners next year
