There won't be any secret gigs like those two any more, safety issues. I'm sure we'll hear on these boards who the TBC's are though

this other stage opener should be someone on a par with beady eye, which in my opinion is not a huge standard to live up to, so dont expect anyone like prince, madonna, coldplay or any of the other ridiculous suggestions that have come up who could fill the pyramid arena, at a time of day where they would cause a mob at the other stage (again safety issues).

Mumford & Sons. Have history in playing secret gigs and have played the festival every year of their existence. No space for them on the lineup now so may appear in a TBA slot?

Just speculating, I have no interest in seeing that again.

Nowhere but since they headlined last year it severely pigeon-holes them to a few feasible slots on the lineup.

Long time lurker here. I reckon Franz Ferdinand are a reasonable shout. Enough material, big enough without being massive - not any more at least. They deserve to be, but alas, they're not.

what happened to the Klaxons as a suggestions? they seem to of gone from the rumours page (i'm sure it has already been mentioned on this thread but f me, that's a lot if pages to read to get what i want).

despite being quite firm that i thought it wouldn't be, i'm starting to think it may well be a band in the same ilk as Klaxons, but there's no evidence to point out that it's them, and it'll hopefully be somebody better (although Myths Of The Near Future material at 11am wouldn't go amiss. would actually quite enjoy that)

If it's a once popular now small-ish act hoping to give their career a shot in the arm, then Franz Ferdinand seem likely.

If it's a larger act hoping to do a low-key (ish) slot without the stress of headlining, then Coldplay seem likely.
