Oh yeah every one you listed that i have i agree very much with. (i can't say i've ever listened to an Adam Ant album...) Yet i only got Grace about 6 months ago and BOC i definitely need to delve into more. I quoted the albums i should myself have firmly put in as 'favourites'.

Adam Ant does have quite a lot of crap, but that debut album is just fantastic post-punk. Probably only surpassed by Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen and Gang of Four for debut post-punk albums IMO.

And yes, you definitely need to delve into BOC more. Wonderful band.

I've only ever associated Adam Ant with the guy my mum had a poster of in her room when she was a teenager. Considering other bands she likes from the 80s are Duran Duran and Spandeau Ballet i just assumed it wasn't worth bothering

I'm going to the Roundhouse on thursday. I've been getting incredibly paranoid as my ticket still hasn't arrived but i phoned the venue today and enquired about it, and they are claiming a lot of people have said the same, so they believe one batch has been mixed up at some point in the Royal Mail....but apparently they'll accept my name and reference number on the door... I'm kind of ridiculously excited but i'm not letting myself get too carried away until i am (hopefully) inside the venue...
