all of the posts that still exist are accessible here.

Most posts don't get deleted nowadays because the forums software has been modified to better cope with a large number of posts, but it used to be necessary to purge older posts to keep the forums fast at busier times.

(Some posts do still get purged - for example the tickets for sale stuff. Posts in the festival forums don't get purged now).
