thinking of making a glorious return to balado this year after a year off last year.

only thing is that from 3 years ago (foos) to 2 years ago (stone roses) i felt as though the campsite had become more dodgy over that year

has anyone else been the last 3 years and noticed any difference or did you find the campsite ok last year ?

Last year I had a great time in the campsite and I was in red, no hassle and had a good atmosphere, year before I was in red camped next to a big group of crackheads and just didn't have the best year camping wise, year before that was a good atmopshere in pink. Not sure in 2012 was just a bad year full of dodgy people or it's just down to luck of who your neighbours are

2011 and 2012 I felt like it was becoming worse and there seemed to be a constant tension in the air, specially in 2012. Last year however, it was a great atmosphere and everyone seemed to be in very high spirits, I would say that may have been down to the weather aswell but I did really enjoy it last year.

I miss X tent, Pet Sounds, Ceilidh tent and an introducing tent that was a tent, not a pishy little covered stage. I miss the days of REMs, The Whos, RHCPs, RATMs and other such wow factor bands being booked rather than button pressing nobodies. I miss it being a music festival rather than a commercial and mercenary juggernaut. Wow factor not X factor. I've decided to stay away again this year despite the line up being better than last year. I think it might be time for me to hang up my T wristbands I just can't see them putting on a decent line up again. 2011 seems so long ago.
