MatthewBL
I haven't been on for a while, are there any concrete rumours so far? and is this one of the first years that efests havent had a single group in their rumour list? luckysalt
eFests never bothers with Download pal, last time they got good info on Download was 2009. There's plenty of rumours, read back over the pages.
FloorFiller
Slipknot's new album is very VERY good. i really didn't know if they still had it in them after everything that happened and All Hope Is Gone being a bit of a letdown but i think longtime fans of the band are gonna be very happy with this one. sits as a nice middle ground between Iowa and Vol. 3 i think
Andre91
I agree. The album is absolutely awesome. It's the one that should have been released after Vol. 3. It's the perfect mix of their first three albums imo. It shows an artistic side to the band non-fans might not know/expect. The drumming is flawless, and its nice to hear more sampling in their music again.
cragzy
I was saying that to a few ppl in work today that it DEFO like the first three albums and cory just sounds amazing tbh
MattyMadMan
This album is absolutely insane in the best of ways. Hoping they do headline again, they smashed it in 2013.
justanothername
I really enjoyed the new Slipknot album but I felt it dragged in parts but it was still better than All Hope Is Gone but I've only had time to listen to it once as I've been listening to another album
FloorFiller
only song i felt was a bit throwaway is The One That Kills The Least. think the rest is brilliant. look forward to seeing which songs make the cut live

dentalplan
Sorry to repeat myself if anyone also follows the Glastonbury forum but Copping and Download are hyping up an announcement of 'simply the biggest UK rock tour of 2015'. Perhaps they're getting AC/DC sales out of the way next week and announcing them and other headliners for Download the week after? Worth keeping an eye on anyway. atomised
Reckon it'll be slipknot
dentalplan
Oh right. I just looked it up and there's pages and pages of stuff about a Slipknot tour in January announced on Monday. Damn. Still I guess it could affect Download.
SOAD
I really hope Marilyn Manson headlines second or gets a Saturn headline spot at Sonisphere. He is playing a lot more of his older material (Angel with the Scabbed Wings, Little Horn etc.), his newer material seems to be getting better with time and he seems to be back on form live. Think I would see him over most other bands at the moment.
atomised
I think.assuming the info on slipknot is correct it would make them more likely for soni than download.
GuitarManDan15
I think.assuming the info on slipknot is correct it would make them more likely for soni than download. Why would that be the case? If copping is hyping it up i'd think they were very unlikely for soni
cragzy
I'm hoping for the foo fighters tbh but if it is slipknot I'm still happy and I'll still get a ticket :-)
