Is there any mileage in the G'n'R stuff ?? Would it be the original line up ? Hasn't Slash got a new album coming out, that I would have thought he'd be touring with next year (assuming Alter Bridge don't have the same).

I, personally, can't see it. I certainly don't have a desire to see G'n'R in their current incarnation, that's for sure.

However, if it were to happen, I reckon it could be one of the best shows of recent times (Rammstein apart).

Slash hasn't spoken to Axl in eighteen years. He will never perform with him again. I love GNR but it ain't happening, unfortunately.

However, current GNR are apparently touring a lot next year so I'm expecting them to headline DL along with Slipknot and AC/DC.

There was standing for the Glasgow date on the presale. They didn't have the separate Standing and Seating listings though. You just went into the main one and picked "Level 0 Standing" in the section you wanted.

Slipknot tickets seem to be selling like hot shit. Standing is supposedly sold out for every date, with seated being a real pain to get hold of in the bigger cities.

i knew it'd be popular but not this popular. a lot of people on Slipknot's facebook are pissed off that the London (and other big cities) standing tickets seemed to sell out almost instantly as they went on sale. glad i went for presage now. i know it may be some people's only option now (other than pay extortionate tout prices) but fuck sitting for Slipknot

Bought mine in the live nation pre sale yesterday but my mate in work walked over to the motorpoint arena in his lunch break yesterday and bought six from the ticket office, he paid cash so there was no booking fee and he had an actual ticket instead of the e/mail nonsense we've got

I failed to get slipknot tickets even though i tried within 20 seconds of them going on sale. Fair play to them for being so big but it was a shame there wasnt any Wembley tickets on Seetickets as i always seem to get tickets easier through them.

The majority of Wembley tickets were distributed through the arena website, I think see, gigantic and ticketmaster got 10% allocated between them.

I got mine from there yesterday afternoon.

Seems Birmingham is the only standing left of all the gigs, apparently Cardiff has sold out completely including seats

EDIT - Seetickets have sold out of standing for Birmingham, so im guessing it must be close to being all gone

Yep, that's what I'm hoping for. There's no point in going to a slipknot show and being seated. It's like going to an all you can eat buffet and just having salad - pointless.

I went on at 858 and hit refresh for 2 mins. The second I got through to standing tickets. None available.

So 900:30. Tried for 15 mins incase it was sheer volume locking me out to no avail.

By 915 they were on Get me in. No suprise there really.

Andy said most of the London tickets were only avaliable thru the AXS website, I did see shit loads of people saying they got them from there.

Seems like Ticketmaster and See Tickets didn't get the bulk of these tickets like normal
