Electric Callboy are very unlikely. They seem to have an exclusive deal with another Czech promoter.
Pohoda festival (despite being held almost a month later) is also announcing something big tomorrow. They say it will be a "big surprise" so maybe it's the same name we are waiting for?
Yeah, was just looking at who wasn’t ruled out by being elsewhere that weekend (like KOL, Deftones, Franz Ferdinand, Massive Attack Etc) and were around headlining other festivals near to RfP. Suppose Electic Callboy could be considered depending on what day they’re at Greenfield but I couldn’t find anything to confirm that.
Stormzy gets me too. Hands down my biggest Glastonbury regret. Although catching the end of Kiwanuka was great, I shoulda just legged it to The Pyramid afterwards.
1. Radiohead 2017
2. Kendrick 2022
3. Elton 2023
4. Arctic Monkeys 2023
5. Arcade Fire 2024. I had a great time but remember very little of the actual set.
6. Foos. I love them, but my mates hated it and we ended up leaving after 5 mins to go see Fat Boy
The amount of time I've seen FBS at headliner time is ridiculous, so I feel he deserves an honorary mention.
Spurs are missing four of their starting back five through injury, and just havnt been able to rest anyone at any point, playing twice a week every week. If they get a nice midweek rest (next spare midweek is between the 29th and the 4th of jan) then they might be able to improve a bit, and perhaps even get a couple of players back. The squad is too thin obviously, but nobody could absorb that many injuries.
Lots of pundits think spurs should just defend deep and cut their cloth accordingly, but they'd lose anyways - its the going for it that's led to positive results, so why not continue to go for it? is 6-3 tons worse than 3-0? i dont think so, and its their first defeat by more than one goal this season.
