a7x and aerosmith were both great. Linkin park were awful. With download, I find as the headliners are taken from such a small pool, if I get some I like it's more of a deal sweetener.

The undercard this year was great, as long as it's strong again this year I'm not really bothered who's headlining. I'll always get early bird as there's more for me to watch there than other fests.

Id didn't watch A7X cus fucking Offspring were playing Smash in full! I dont like A7X anyway, and they didn't change my mind on main in 2011, nice set up but their songs suck.

With Soni changing hands and those hands booking KISS for a couple of their Euro festivals, then I'd assume them more likely for Soni or whatever Soni becomes than Download anyway. I don't know why Copping would book KISS off the back of 2012's Sonisphere either.

I swear a few people on here were complaining about the headliners but besides that I know they did put on great shows anyway. To be honest I'd liked those headliners and I'd have been pleased with them if I went

Talking of KISS, they accidentally uploaded a Der Ring poster with Deftones and Airbourne on it to Facebook. So Deftones should be in the mix for Download as they already did Soni last year. Airbourne, maybe - they'll probably end up on AC/DC's stadium tour.

Maybe. They're that popular they could probably sub any headliner and go down well though. I'd say them and Slash to sub main stage and Lamb of God and Marilyn Manson to headline second along with an oldie to go up against Slipknot.
