How does Gerrard react if left out of a big game, not sure it's ever happened before. Will be a challenge for Rodgers, but likely it will have to happen one day

even the biggest ego in football 9whpoever that might be, I've no idea) is very likely to have a greater sense of self-awareness aged 34 than you're crediting Gerrard with.

Don't refresh after you're in at 8.15 though. Just be on the 'website closed' or whatever page into the queue and wait...

Even worse today! Got onto the website closed page before 8:15, got into the queue. Still over an hour left to go after being in the queue for over two hours, all tickets sold out.

there are some cracking reviews in there:

I bought this and invited round the auld fella, his auld

fella and a few of my bezzie mates. We've all got seasies

and we never miss a match, home or away. I read this

book aloud for them and within 10 minutes they were all

wellin' up, I had to compose myself on numerous

occasions as I was also on the verge of wellin' up. We ran

the full gamut of emotions, from tears of joy after beating

City, seething at Mourinho's antics at Anfield to tears of

rage at Palace. When I had finished the book there was

total silence for ten mins, grown men with tears running

down their cheeks, the only sound was tears dripping into

pint pots of Carling. Finally the silence was broken by my

auld fella addressing his auld fella, 'Brendan made us

dream didn't he dad?' his auld fella, face reddened by

tears, replied 'he did son, he did... but then they broke our

hearts'. That was it, within seconds every one of us had

welled up again, tears poured down our faces and we

couldn't stop. There we were wiping away each others

tears with no embarrassment, we knew what this meant.

These were not tears of rage nor tears of joy, no, these

were tears for our club, our family. No football club does

emotion like Liverpool Football Club, no writer gets into

the emotion of our club quite like Paul Tomkins.

Toni Kroos cheaper than llalana, the price you pay for English players.

Isn't Kroos in the last year of his contract?

Liverpool fans write a book about finishing second.

He writes a season review every year.

Ah shit. Think system is struggling to cope with demand to say the least.

Got lucky today - got on about 7.35 on the 'website shut page' and left it until queue opened around 8.15. Reckon it took me about 45 minutes and managed to get two games. Just go for late availability games now or European sales should be on after the draw!

I have said it before, but why anyone would want to live in London ahead of Liverpool is beyond me. Its one of my biggest regrets in life not moving to Liverpool, when I worked in the Wirral, fantastic city. It makes sense Liverpool increasing their squad size, but in the past they had a big squad and not enough quality. Im hoping for one big signing to supplement the increased depth.

If only Alex Sanchez and his family had your personal experiences to call upon when making his decision. A missed opportunity.

On a serious note, nice signing by Newcastle.

Madrid signing Kroos and James. The elite are getting even more elite in recent years.

Distance between Madrid/Barca/United/Munich/City/PSG/Chelsea and the rest hasnt decreased in recent years - its increased. FFP is a larf.
