Stick a £60million bid in and it will probably be accepted.

Football now, personal terms are fairly easy to agree on, sadly.

No doubt the bid would be accepted, it would also fish out interest from other clubs who would probably be more attractive to the player. Of course personal terms are the main factor, but offer Reus 200k, Gerrard probably has a clause to be the best paid players, Sturridge and Sterling will be knocking on the door asking for a pay rise.

No, I think he'd do a good job of stabilising West Ham, he is a good, if not limited manager, in the fact he'll bring stability, and has a knack of bringing out the best in players, think Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar as bargains, think the likes of Kilbane, Marcus Bent, Pembridge, Carsley and Gravesen, as players he got the best out of, but forget the days of winning at City, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Spurs or Everton because he'll just go for a draw.

He'd rather sit on a 1-0 defeat, as opposed to attacking, and going for a 1-1 and losing 2-0.

A fit, in form Falcao would be just what the Dr ordered at Liverpool. If available I can't see it being easy for them to secure him. Everyone will want a sniff. It does throw a question over the Remy medical if this is what they are pursuing

On Liverpool I just about trust the local papers and The Times/Guardian because of their connections. The rest like you suggest seems to be to sell papers.

The fee for Chambers is apparently £12-16m, which is ridiculous. As Will said, the price for English players is just insane. No wonder teams look abroad for players, they can't afford the natives anymore

Shaw told to train alone by LVG, not fit enough is the official line.

More like don't get to big for your boots son, saw both United's pre season games and Shaw was very poor.

I don't see the price as an issue, if his good or crap is more the question.

Not seen enough of Southampton's games to Make an informed descision.

Saying that Herrera going to be a good signing.
