i read a rumour (might have been via BBC gossip, tho it might not) that Skrtel would be allowed to go if he was signed.

Its difficult to judge him on a few games, Im not sure what he has been like at club level. I think my main fear from watching a few times is that he may be one of those players who looks impressive, but lacks an end product.

He can't have been dreadful at club level else he wouldn't have made the squad, I'd guess.

And while you might be right, I don't think he'll be lacking that anything more than Lukaku is. Origi looks as good a bet (tho a little less developed as a player) and at a cheaper price.

I disagree he looks as good a bet, Lukakus build is made for the premiership. He may be better value for money depending on price.

Lukaku is a decent striker, but he'll never be the primary striker for a Prem top team.

Fergie thought Bebe had prospects; I think Origi has prospects.

Sad to see another fantastic player leave the Prem, but overall I'm glad he has as the circus would be stupid following his latest dracula act.

On the subject of Arsenal, I'm really happy about the Debuchy deal, a very solid and experienced full back for a good price.

I support Doncaster but Arsenal are my favourite of the bigger teams. Was more me wanting him to come to the Prem rather than to Juventus though.
