If Sanchez does go to Arsenal, how do we think their strongest line up will look?

Will it be Walcott that misses out (on the rare occasion he's fit for selection that is...) ?

I think Santi Corzola is off to Atletico Madrid, so presumably it'll be his place.

Agree with that, certainly against the better teams anyway.

On last seasons performances I don't see how Wilshire warrants a starting place anyway.

Wilshere really needs to step it up soon. Still plays like he's 19.

I think OX future is in the middle and i would much prefer him to wiltshere (as TGT States) has done very little in recent memory to deserve his place in the team,

Those rumours seem to have died down a lot; I think he'll stay. Based on last season he doesn't deserve a guaranteed starting spot, so he can't complain about being left out of the best XI.

Wouldn't surprise me if he leaves (think arsenal have too many players in the attacking third) but would be surprised if Atletico could afford Cazorla's wages.

As far as a DM goes, there's been loads of reports about going Bender again after being knocked back last summer. Moves for Khedira and Schneiderlin have also been mentioned, so I'm hoping one of them comes off. I'd liked to see Khedira the most, but I feel that if Germany win the WC then Real Madrid will look for a much higher fee for him than before the tournament. Schneiderlin would be a great move too, PL experience and all that.

So if one of those come off, I think the strongest XI nest season will be:

Szczesny

Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs

Khedira/Bender/Schneiderlin, Ramsey

Walcott, Özil, Sanchez

Giroud

Also excited to hear reports of a deal for Remy being close too.

Khedira isn't a defensive midfielder, he's a box to box midfielder like Ramsey. He wouldn't provide the defensive cover which is sorely needed. From last night's game you can see how much he bombs forward. Him playing alongside Ramsey would either result in no defensive cover or Ramsey being restricted in terms of forward runs, both of which would be bad. Schneiderlin would be a much better signing, and probably cheaper.

They've got an Egyptian right back on trial who used to be backup at Hull and Sheff Utd, so he's got competition!

Still, it's probably a very good thing for Utd, as he's one of the top suspects for a major and damaging spat between LvG and the players.

I think he has had a good world cup, not robben level, but their next best attacking player.
