Well I got the day wrong already.

The 'more rock' thing will be the undercard though, surely. They barely have any out and out 'pop' headliners and particularly not this year.

Lucky has already given us Billy Idol, and there are a few rockier acts around at the time that didn't fall on the Download lineup.

Edit: I do think The Prodigy make a lot of sense for IOW though as Will suggested. Might be able to do a coheadliner. Strokes and Prodigy would be some transition.

Next announcement is tomorrow at 5pm. I reckon it's going to be The Black Keys. Although they'll be a weaker headliner, with fleetwood Mac as an exclusive and another strong headliner, I think they'll just about pull it off!
