Did anyone watched Mik Artistik over the weekend? Saw him in the Rabbit Hole and he was hilarious, in complete stitches. Had never heard of him before so was a pleasant discovery.

After rocking up to tents at about 3am that night we were then told to shut up because we couldn't stop shouting "PLASTIC FOX!" (Sorry neighbours)

My 9th Glastonbury, and not a classic for me. Still had loads of fun, but I've got a couple of minor gripes -

When oh when will they get the hang of sorting out the entrance to The Park? Every time it rains it becomes as slippery and treacherous as an ice rink. Wish they'd stick some bark chippings down.

Also - screens needed at West Holts and The Park. And they need to kill the sound from bars in The Park during sets. Trying to watch Mogwai was such a frustrating experience...couldn't see anything because there weren't any screens, couldn't hear it properly because a nearby bar was thumping out music. Gave up and went back to the tent in the end.

Thought the site held up better than in previous muddy years though.

Wtf is with the sudden trend in women standing on the toilets??

It got right on my tits, every other one was filthy with mud from wellies and made it worse for anyone attempting to use afterwards.

I saw people doing it and it left me flabbergasted. Why can't people hover, mop the seat first or just bite the bullet and sit down?

some people near my camp seriously took the piss with the sinks in the morning - washing hair, bodies, wellies, everything, whilst huge queues of people wanting water formed behind them. stewards came over to tell them to stop it / fill a bottle and clean themselves at camp but they just ignored them and carried on. really quite frustrating that some people can be so selfish

My 11th trip to Glasto, had a wonderful weekend as always but.....as some other people have said, it was missing.....something. It was my first since 2010 so I thought after a 4 year break it would have that magical feeling from years gone by, but....that seemed to be missing.

However I did see some wonderful things which will live long in the memory such as:

Arcade Fire

Jungle

Gaz Coombes doing Caught by the Fuzz

Toy at 1am Fri night at the Crows Nest

Gruff Rhys same place 24hrs later - my highlight

John Grant - Glacier had me in bits

Bramble FM!

Dolly

Bellas field - now my favourite place on site

Midlake - my favourite main stage act of the wkend

The movie clip show in Astrolabe

Negative points:

Food too pricey

Sound bleed at the Acoustic - watching Clannad (not planned but bloody good!) on Sunday eve I could hear the Black Keys from the pyramid even during some of their songs

Crowds - same as ever but I ended up avoiding some parts of the site. All entrances into silver Hayes seemed problematic, maybe because it was so much better this year therefore more popular - took us 30mins to get from JP to the Gully after Jungles set on Friday afternoon!

I thought the site held up well to the deluge of rain on Fri & Sat - previous years it would have been much worse

I will be back but I think another couple of years break will help - even after the 4 year break just gone, a lot of it just seemed too familiar. Saying that I'm sure come October that little voice in my head will be tempting me to try once more...

This! For nearly every band I saw! The worst was the other stage friday for me. I had a run of bands i was really looking forward to; FTP, Interpol and Paulo and got myself a decent spot forward of the soundbooth and there was so many people doing absolutely everything but listening to the band. A group would leave only to be replaced by a different group of people who just chatted, took pictures of themselves and sniffed a load of coke/md of their hands. If you want to do that and aren't interested in bands there are loads of places you can go to at Glasto other than about '20 rows' from the front of a band.

I'm not saying people have to stand in complete silence looking at the stage intently but some interest in the band on would be nice.

Mixed bag for me this year I'm afraid after the amazing time me and the wife had in 2013.

We went with another couple and a friend of ours, took the friend down with us on the Wednesday and had an amazing first night, saw the opening ceremony at the stone circles, dancing transvestites in block 9, the heaven stage and thought "yes! This is it"

Then the other couple turned up on the Thursday, first timers, got them settled in and had a pretty fun night just bimbling about.

Then the other couples mood just seemed to sour with every passing day. The guy, my so called best mate, who has actually been before 5 years ago and loved it, was just a grumpy twat for most if it. He hated us getting on it during the bands, hated us getting our faces painted, hated Arcadia, was genuinely disgusted that I went to the silent disco on the Saturday night. By the Sunday I was glad when they'd left after Dolly Parton to go to a hotel as his wife just wanted to "lay in bed and watch TV" incredible !!!!! You have to put something into glasto to get the best out of it and they didn't and it made me and the wife lose that sense of freedom and joy at times when we were all together.

That being said I saw some great acts, loved seeing Metallica, that was a dream for me. Found disclosure in Arcadia to be a personal highlight as was any time we passed by the glade. Not a big fan of massive attack but timed leaving disclosure just enough time to see unfinished symphony, simply stunning. Paulo nutini was probably the most I enjoyed a set, partly due to the amazing supermans my friend had brought, thanks tuts, you can come back next year haha

Next year it's just me and the wife again, I've already told friends that if they come they'll have to make their own way down and find their own camping spot. I'm happy to meet up with friends once in a while but next year we're going to be very selfish in the way we approach it, glasto was our naughty little secret that we wanted to share with some friends this year, it didn't totally work out so I've got to find that sense of freedom again next year , can't wait !

My first time and I've got to say I was absolutely bowled over by how good the whole experience was. Genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. As a TITP veteran I found the general attitude/atmosphere incredible, makes TITP look almost barbaric in comparison. We picked a cracking spot to camp and got on really well with our neighbours. Can't believe the size of the place, it really is incredible. We took it easy and didn't try to cover everything but I feel we done all right. As good as the bands are during the day, Glastonbury at night has changed me forever I reckon :D Will definitely be back but not sure I could face the drive up/down from Scotland every year.

Only slight negatives for me where the queue/walk when arriving and leaving (which I can understand, can't really be avoided) and I felt bar the first few rows of the each stage the crowds were quite tame in comparison to what I'm used to.

Just a question for when I do go back, we had a brilliant time at Baggy Mondays on the Thursday, is there anything similar over the rest of the weekend?

This was my second time and it was quite different from last year. I spent much more time wandering through and hanging out in Bella's Field/Circus Field/Glebeland, which was a welcome change of pace. I also chatted a lot more with random people (didn't feel confident enough last year), danced in the rain instead of seeking shelter in a tent, and sought out a few smaller acts as well.

Overall, we had a great time and I can't believe it's already over. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be trying for tickets in October as we have to attend two weddings next year, including one overseas. I'm already gutted about it, but sometimes these things can't be helped.

Things I really liked:

- Deltron 3030 - one of my favourite ever Glasto sets

- Drenge (at the Crow's Nest) - amazingly intimate set from a hugely underrated band

- Royal Blood - such good songs and so tight I can forgive them being a little too polished / posey

- Metallica - really impressed they didn't fudge with most of 'Load' and put on a great show

- Public Service Broadcasting - love their music and the pre-recorded announcements are hilarious

- Robert Plant - particularly amazing to be there for the Led Zep tunes

- Greatly improved queueing system on exit for the shuttle buses

- Food at Williams Green

- Arcadia having its own field

- General high level of civility and lack of d*ckishness in the vicinity of my tent

Things I really didn't like:

- So many people pissing in the middle of crowds - my 11th Glasto and never seen anything like it before since my one trip to T In The Park

- Someone pissing in a cup, emptying it and then giving it to someone else (unaware) to use for their pre-mixed drink

- Queueing system on entry from Gate A - weirdly convoluted and disorganised with not enough communication or signage

- Nowhere near enough toilets and only one water tap in Bushy Ground

Overall it was really good, with far more highs than lows, but a little more sun would have made it great. I was a bit sad I was too knackered to see much late-night or circus.

saw more bands this year than I have done on previous years which is cool. Great weekend, I love that place.

Stone circle was better than previous recent years, less laughing gas and more fires/bongos I thought..

Currently struggling to construct sentences right now so I'll give my full response in a few days haha

I thought it was a great year - came so close to there being enough mud to spoil it but it was just a full-range glastonbury experience, no mudbath

We arrived midday wednesday and waltzed in choosing to camp far closer to an exit than ever before but worked out rather nicely, lots of space and lovely neighbours meant it was all very pleasant but that was almost the last I saw of camp apart from rainy saturday morning which just meant time for a good long natter and catchup like campfire chats of old enthusing about what we'd been up to which was ace

the weather was more of a spectacle in itself than a real grind with it almost all coming in such big lumps that while demanding serious waterproofness it doesn't feature much in the memories, so can't be bad.

the crowd was wonderful - probably the giddiest I've felt it since 2010 and near hysterical by thursday afternoon. we went to the musical bingo and i'm pretty sure that didn't go to plan as the sing-alongs got more and more carried away it felt really quite special. The rain dampened things but once it passed everyone got so excited again it was just brilliant. i saw less dickishness than in recent years and spent a lot of time in the thick crowd without many problems - lots of the younger generation who seemed to have got it now, relieving to see. if anything the contrast was higher - there seemed to be fewer dicks being bigger dicks, which made them easier to spot and avoid

e-fests meet was great fun, good to put names to faces but not enough time to talk to everyone at all. the thursday one was lost to post-supersingalong giddiness sadly

the music was awesome - saw so many good acts, got nicely down front for everything I wanted to in friendly crowds who were almost all into it and sang my heart out. lost my voice by thursday night, got it back then ruined it at chvrches and still can't talk properly now. this, i have found over the years, is a sign i have had a frikkin' brilliant time.

danced all day and night, had great fun being a bit costumey and got extra random hugs and funny moments from it so will totally be doing it again (bring on boomtown) and made it to dawn every night and up and bouncing before 9 every day - though rainy saturday saw action delayed. shangri-la etc all seemed great, but insanely busy and queuey leaving me mostly prefering arcadia though the heaven stage's projections and the friday night dj at like 3am or god knows when was great fun it was just too busy

standout moments have to be Dolly who really was the 4th Headliner of Legend and finding the thin crowd-loud sound Arcadia sweetspot and raving it up each night with our newfound festival buddy until i had to spend the end of Sunday chair dancing like a nutter having lovely chats with lovely folk whose feet had also given out. had a great couple of hours there each night

just felt very full this year. last year was spectacular but full of highs and lows - this year was a consistently awesome experience from start to finish and I still cannot imagine not trying for tickets come October
